Summer Camps

Camp runs Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are no pre-camp or post-camp care options available at Hanna’s Town. Campers may be signed in no earlier than 9:45 a.m. and signed out no later than 4:30 p.m. Only those listed in the above sections for Guardians, Emergency Contacts, and other authorized adults may sign out my camper. Campers may not sign themselves in or out of camp.

I understand that my camper is expected to follow the rules of Historic Hanna’s Town and Westmoreland County Parks. Campers must respect as our historic buildings, historic and reproduction artifacts, classrooms, and natural environment like gardens and trails. We also expect camp participants to respect those who want to teach and learn, including fellow campers, staff, volunteers, interns, and presenters.

Inappropriate behaviors include, but are not limited to, hitting, kicking, biting, using foul or cruel language, harassment, possessing weapons or illegal substances, and/or removing or damaging historic or natural resources. Campers must also adhere to Westmoreland County Park rules.

In the best interest of this program, its participants, and the Historical Society’s historic resources, the Westmoreland Historical Society reserves the right to expel participants in the case of extreme disciplinary problems. No refunds will be made under these circumstances.

In consideration for the Westmoreland Historical Society conducting various programs and allowing my camper to participate in such programs, the undersigned, realizing the risk of injury attendant to such programs, does hereby release and forever discharge the Westmoreland Historical Society and its officers, agents, and employees from any and all actions, claims, or liabilities result from, or arising out of, or based upon, and bodily injury or property damage which may be sustained by the undersigned, or the camp participant, while participating in such programs.
